Kate’s Story about this painting:

Many afternoons on deck when I was pondering 

whether to go for a swim and wash my hair 

Philip would be a bit hesitant whether to follow. 

This is because often a Barracuda or other fish would look for shade and cool out under a boat. 

Then Philip would say 

“You go in first Beauty, see if Barry is there”. 

He was always scared of fish 

and just hated checking on anchor.
