Kate’s story about this painting:

This is the interior of Mounty P, our old wooden Plantation House.

For our wedding we were given a most beautiful mahogany Grandfather Clock.

A couple of years ago it capsized aound 4am.

It just disintegrated making a huge noise

and scaring the hell out of me.

It was gobbled up by termites and the only thing left

was the engraved Brass Face.

So I then had fun designing the next Grandfather Clock, using the brass face

and other bits of broken furniture.
