Kate’s story about this painting:

 I was invited to a marvellous wedding in Martinique.

The groom was Charles, a grand nephew of Philip.

He was marrying a Martinican girl called Jade. 

I love French West Indian music

 and I love to watch the sweet style of the dancing. 

We were drinking Ti’ Punch and talking of the past, 

and how Philip would have loved that evening…

so I popped him in the painting, 

sailing past between the islands.
