Kate’s Story about this painting:

We sailed in high winds from St Barts. 

A water spout wiggled in front of us,

 another one close by.

Philip! I cried. Yes, he said, 

let’s go closer to pick up a little wind. 

Sure enough it was like putting

 the accelerator down. 

We keeled at a hell of an angle, 

the boom scratching the water,

 turned tail and sped off.
