While Philip wrote and dreamed of his next voyage, 

I set up my new studio. 

An old ‘magazino ‘ on the edge of the sea wall 

of this wonderful island city Ortigia. 

Glorious Baroque churches everywhere, but I think 

this was my favourite little Piazzetta.
